ONE IMPORTANT POINT

This ain't no pity party. This ain't no sob story. No "boo-hooing!" NO "tears in your beer." No "Oh what a terrible story." The Warrior heart is still alive and ticking. If you are one of the people who knows me not. I apologize for how dark this story sounds. But as those who know me will tell you, I have taken this all in stride. It's how I am. How God made me. I find telling this to be therapeutic. It's way more interesting than telling you stories of what I did after I retired and mowed the lawn. Granted I have some great SEA STORIES from my days in the Navy. But that is for another day. If you leave a pity comment. I promise to delete it.

Well then no more pity comments for you!

I didn't fall asleep during your entire story because it amazed me at which point I think I would have thrown in the towel.

You've just given me a whole new insight on the way I need to see things. Thanks for my new KEWL eyes!!

No pity for a strong soul. Let's replace pity with respect.

Oh Great! I see the church women are starting to pour in like a jar of molasses on your Blog...slowly, but surely.

I won't get a word in edgewise!

You just HAD to get Chatty Kelly started, didn't you?

Hey - my blog says I'm chatty, so you were worned. So Blase will have to put up with me. He's just worried that with all the church ladies around, he'll end up in church or something!

Besides, I'm a sucker for your french accent.

Hi. I think I am going to love reading your blog. It was recommended to me by Kelly Combs (who happens to be my sister). She told me I would love it. She was right.

This is probably the only blog that I have ever actually gone back to the beginning to start reading. I'm in the middle somewhere now.

So many of the things you are and that you write about are things that I feel very strongly about.

"Patriot, Warrior, Christian, America, Scoundrel, Decorated War vet, Marksman, Provocateur, Cancer Survivor, US Navy, Marine Dad, RN mom, Gentlemen, Duty......the list goes on!)

I really liked the clip on Gun Control issues and LOVED the portrayal of Michael Moore (blech!)

My favorite of your posts so far is Clear the Breech, about being a patriot.

I liked this post too. I'm the same way. I REALLY REALLY don't like pity parties.

Anyway, Nice to Meet You!

P.S. Stay away from machetes!!
