c'est la guere

Somewhere, someone is training to kill you. He's a true believer with single-minded purpose and he  is training to kill you. He's training with a minimum of water and food in austere conditions, day and night and the only clean thing on him is his weapon. He doesn't care about what workout to do, what time the sun goes up and down, what the latest happenings on television are or how cold it is outside. He doesn't care what side of the poverty line you live on, he doesn't care about the color of your skin, he doesn't even care what religion you serve or if , heaven forbid, you are an ATHEIST.  He doesn't care if you are a conservative who despises his ideology, or if you are a liberal who sympathizes with the plight of the Palestinians in the middle east.  No, all he cares about is that you are American and the liberties and freedoms that you enjoy are somehow a threat to him, they pervert his idea of justice and keep his Islamic way of life from reaching its pinnacle of world acceptance and domnation. It has been ingrained in him since he was a very young child, much the same way an American child goes to kindergarten this boy has been indoctrinated in the art of Spartan warfare to the point where he believes with all of his heart that there is a heavenly reward awaiting him for killing you and he absolutely will not stop.

Sounds like some futuristic movie script with time traveling cybernetic organisms coming to undo human control over the planet?

Let me assure you, it is not.

This is part of a plan set up by a group of men, leaders of the Islamic religion, to take control of the world using all force necessary for their particular god. There are a great many good people in the Islamic way of life, unfortunately though, none of them are in positions of authority. And the people who are in those positions of authority deem it  quite acceptable for their forces to kill those good islamic people if they refuse to join in the jihad (holy war).

On March 11, 2005 a document, written by a Al Qaeda leader was made public and it stated as its strategy to the year 2020,  these things as necessary to rid the Ummah (nation of Islam) from all forms of oppression.

1. Provoke the United States and the West into invading a Muslim country by staging a massive attack or string of attacks on U.S. soil that results in massive civilian casualties.
2. Incite local resistance to occupying forces.
3. Expand the conflict to neighboring countries, and engage the U.S. and its allies in a long war of attrition.
4. Convert al-Qaeda into an ideology and set of operating principles that can be loosely franchised in other countries without requiring direct command and control, and via these franchises incite attacks against the U.S. and countries allied with the U.S. until they withdraw from the conflict, as happened with the 2004 Madrid train bombings, but which did not have the same effect with the July 7, 2005 London bombings.
5. The U.S. economy will finally collapse by the year 2020 under the strain of multiple engagements in numerous places, making the worldwide economic system which is dependent on the U.S. also collapse leading to global political instability, which in turn leads to a global jihad led by al-Qaeda and a Wahhabi Caliphate (
Ultra Conservative, Fundamentalist Political Leader) will then be installed across the world following the collapse of the U.S. and the rest of the Western world countries.

Atwan also noted, regarding the collapse of the U.S., "If this sounds far-fetched, it is sobering to consider that this virtually describes the downfall of the Soviet Union."

al-Qaeda in particular, developed during the Islamic revival and Islamist movement of the last three decades of the 20th century, along with less extreme movements.

Some have argued that "without the writings" of Islamic author and thinker Sayyid Qutb, "al-Qaeda would not have existed." Qutb preached that because of the lack of sharia law, the Muslim world was no longer Muslim, having reverted to pre-Islamic ignorance known as jahiliyyah.

To restore Islam, he said a vanguard movement of righteous Muslims was needed to establish "true Islamic states", implement sharia, and rid the Muslim world of any non-Muslim influences, such as concepts like socialism and nationalism. Enemies of Islam in Qutb's view included "treacherous Orientalists" and "world Jewry", who plotted "conspiracies" and "wicked[ly]" opposed Islam.

In the words of Mohammed Jamal Khalifa, a close college friend of bin Laden:

Islam is different from any other religion; it's a way of life. We [Khalifa and bin Laden] were trying to understand what Islam has to say about how we eat, who we marry, how we talk. We read Sayyid Qutb. He was the one who most affected our generation.

Day in and day out I hear and see people saying things like "all religions are just pathways to the same place", or "one religion is the same as another."

Just a few days ago the Roman Catholic Church installed a new pope. His words were "to tell the world about the risen Lord Jesus Christ" and the Huffington Post debates whether or not Pope Francis is a true Latino. And CNN writes an article about how he has lunch with the old Pope, while other news rags drone on and on about whether or not the new pontiff will reinvigorate the Catholic Church.
So you see there is a very major difference in the leadership of these two religions and how the world perceives them. One wants to show you how you can be saved from perdition, while the other intends to send you there in as bloody a way as possible.
One hopes to join us together or let us be as we choose, while the other wants to bind us together and toss us into the sea.

Boy- That is powerful...and scary. I think we become so insulated in our own little worlds that we don't realize what is going on around us sometimes. I worry about the world my children/ grandchildren will be left with- xo Diana

Amazing piece you just wrote there, needs to be in all major media outlets. I'm serious here, can you submit this to the major news sources, see what response you get? I hope it gets published.

It's a horror show, and I don't think people realize how serious this mess is.

PS... very cool new header and patch -

This is well written, despite the long standing issues I have with the US foreign affairs. Since time immemorial the US has been in wars with at least one foreign country and their 'aid' no better than a greedy pawn broker's manipulation to make the poor needy on him for his own personal gain.

That said, you are right about this Islamic agenda to force their religion and sharia laws onto us,this being the new super power.Although not a popular opinion, I have often wondered if Obama is Islamic and a real clever coup putting one of their own in the White House?

I have met a great many muslims and was even married to one[which in this climate I should probably not say too loudly],and the one thing they all shared was this smug, forgone conclusion that they would take over the world.

It is true that many Muslims do not believe in violence [as in suicide bombers] but at the same time think Sharia law just and right.

They are already instituting it many countries and before long it will be the law of the land if we are not careful.

Very scary indeed.

Again, well written post, Kurt. Some of your best writing actually, especially the intro.

Oh, I got off track.... The Brits had no right to go in and carve up the Middle East dividing Palestine as they did, giving away this land and that, which was none of their business to do. Then US took over in meddling in other countries affairs with this 'we can bomb anyone back to the stone-age,might is right' attitude which induced the Middle East's hatred of all American[and now Britain when Blair idiot decided to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the US who should never have gone into Iraq]. Bush was building on his father's legacy with that one I think, which was the downfall for the US and Britain. Silly idiot president if ever there was one!

With the appalling foreign policy that the US has adopted/inflicted for decades, it's no wonder the world hates the US,which has been counter-productive to the US agenda[to rule the world themselves]...

They{US specifically, but any country generally] brainwash many a young man[they like to get them young to "mould"them] into fighting for their country, them believing it is the right thing to do, a noble cause, defending their land. Not always, as we all know the shenanigans of corrupt politicians.

When 9/11 happened the US should have paused to question 'why?' instead of their knee jerk reaction to bomb the f--- out of anyone! This was a war they could not win because they did not understand the Muslim mindset, something I was saying as early as 1991 when Bush Senior gave Saddam the ultimatum which started it all[after historically funding his coup to overthrow the government of his country of the day, when the US and Britain were on friendlier terms with him that they conveniently forgot]. The same people who sold him weapons, lent him the money to buy them even, then decades later, illegally captured and murdered* him for possession of such weapons[ an unfounded, bogus charge].

It is not the right of one country to insist their way of life be adopted by another country[much less go in and kill world leaders because one does not believe in their politics][which is the point of this article you've written when it is flowing from the other direction]. think about the merits of that, before you get mad at me. :)

When I was blogging I used to spend a great deal of my online time at political blogs and could recommend a few that would be right up your ally Kurt. :)

The biggest mistake Americans make[something Europeans don't] is not re-assessing their accountability[the administration, not the peoples'] and being far too patriotic, blindly so, that they can't see things without the tunnel vision people suffering such jingoism, which is high amongst American civilians, them being the biggest subjects of American propaganda.

If one speaks as I do here, one risks losing friends, and is assumed to be anti- American. That is almost as blindly devout and blind as the islamic fundamentalists, when you think about it.

Am I still invited for a bbq at your house?

There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. The Islamic jihadist mentality calls for the domination of the godless. Americans simply do not understand the danger, or the danger of Shariah law here in the U.S.A.
