My life has been one continuous learning experience. Back to back to back... one right after another. Maybe you can learn from my experiences and mistakes. Or not..
Great tribute, Kurt. I have a friend named Jack and his wife Karen who are missionaries in TX. He is a Marine and is stationed there to teach and equip the soldiers at Ft. Hood with the Word of God - who will go out to fight for our country. When they know Jesus first - it makes their sacrifice of service even more worth doing! These are brave men and women who serve our country to keep us out of harms way.
Thanks for you comment on the 'retreat' post today. I left you another one to explain more about that - because it was anything but a retreat! It was about being armed for battle!
Thanks again for sharing this with us and for the comment too. Be Blessed!
KW - I read an article in Rolling Stone that broke my heart - a story of soldiers who did some hideous things. Innocent lives lost in a hideous game, and tarnish (unjustified but happens anyway).. to all the fine soldiers who are there doing the right things for the right reasons, and giving their all, sometimes their lives.
There is a display at our Congregational Church here in town this month - Field of Flags - just an amazing display..a flag for every soldier who gave his/her life in Iraq -
