I know you've heard some. I have a million of them. Written by some of comedy's brightest stars, like;

But I don't tell Mother in law jokes. Not because they aren't funny. But because they're not descriptive of my situation. For the 29 years of my marriage, I have never known another person, who is more loving, caring, compassionate or giving than my mother in law.
And she likes me. She has been a friend and a part of my support team during my entire bout with cancer. She calls me every afternoon to see how I'm doing. When her husband went to be with the LORD, she asked me to speak at his funeral. And after I was done, she thanked me.
You might say I'm lucky, or fortunate. But I don't believe in luck or chance. I'm not lucky or fortunate. I am blessed. This world is a better place with my Mother in Law in it. And my life is better because of her being in it. Thank you MOM. For everything.

You are definitely very blessed.
Now that is so nice to hear! She sounds like a wonderful person and has indeed earned the title MOM :0)

Aww that is so sweet!
What a nice thing to say, so glad you have these great people around you and it's clear they are lucky too...or blessed, as you say. :-)
I'm so glad you have a good MIL. It's good to have the people close to you want to be 'on your team'.
She's sounds like a wonderful woman... and friend. :)
Never had a mother in law. She was dead 20 years before I married her daughter. Thank God I divorced that problem. I still like me some K-Dub though.
That's lovely but also an accolade for you. Mothers only treat men well who treat their daughters well. :)
Uber... that is very true. Unfortunately not so much so on the flip-side.
Personally I couldn't stand my mother in law, and ny husband did some thing really cruel and I told my mum, big mistake, she won't have anything to do with him now... but I can't say wha it was what he did. His fault. I'm glad you're in a different situation though

You are right about Mothers-In-Law... My former M-I-L loved me, and I her... we got along great until her daughter and I decided to get divorced... she was so mean... so angry towards me... of course, all she knew was what her daughter told me.
She died several years after her daughter and I divorced... and I offered to be a pall-bearer... I was honored... and sometime after she died, she appeared to me in a dream, and apologized for being angry with me... and I know she meant it... God Bless her soul...
Great post, Kurt...
