I've been waxing nostalgic lately.
It started early yesterday when I caught sight of the china dinnerware that used to be on my Grandmom's Holiday Table, on display at the Redneck.Chic..
Here are a couple of my old favorites that came to mind over at Al's Place

Watching that clip of "Old Man" ('71) sure makes me realize how old I'm getting. The reminders are getting painful, but the alternative stinks.
I always liked "Old Man"... I could listen to it over and over.
Like the new look...
I've always heard that Neil Young is an 'acquired taste'... I'm VERY acquired in that case... I've always loved anything ion which he was ever involved.... Buffalo Springfield... CSN&Y... Crazy Horse...
He is one of the old rockers I would LOVE to meet!

Love these, they bring back great memories.
And... love your new look, very cool! You've pimped your ride :-)
I'm thinkin.....nostalgic and ummm bored/creative. Like the new blog look and layout. Ex friend? I get that. Have an awesome weekend. Blessings, SusanD
It must be in the water...I was "waxing" nostalgia in the form of the 80's music all week. Hahaha. I know I know...you want to smack me in the head now right? If it makes you feel any better, they sure didn't make music like the did classic rock.
Love ya!!
Well, there ARE worse things you could be waxing, lol !
My friend Reggie, who is 7 years older than me loves that song Southern Man. Every CD he's eveer given me has it! I pointed out eh song "Old Man" and he pretended he'd never noticed it! SMILE
I like the words. I wish someone else was singing it though.

I am SO there with you!!! Nostalgia's good... I suffer from bouts of it more and more lately. hmmmm...
Some of the dishes were MY Grandmother's!!! One of them is "Homer Laughlin" ferndale - one is "Homer Laughlin" uhmmm.... I don't remember the pattern name - and my NEWEST one I believe is "Edwin Knowles Co.".
I love LOVE the stories that old china has to tell... and I don't save them for a "special" something - I use them each day 'cause each day is special! Just as you are to me...
Okay - I'm back on air guitar!!! Lots of hugs and kisses being flung your direction right now!!!
