  2. I know a fellow who is a minister that works with returning soldiers to help them 'de-compress'... after doing this for a given amount of time, he had to see a counselor. Evidently he wasn't able to process out of himself... what he had helped the soldiers with...

  3. My cousin served in desert storm, saw his share of wounded and dead, killed one or two on orders...and will NEVER EVER be the same. I don't think he'll ever know peace within himself.

People outside that reality have no clue the price these men and women pay.

  6. Well, I don't have cable and I can't stand FOX News, but I love you! You have the warmest heart of all the bloggers I've read. I love the way you support anyone and everyone who has ever fought for our freedom. Recently, I watched a Kevin Bacon movie, "Taking Chance." Now there is a movie that moved me. I was telling my nephew about it and of course he'd seen it. He shared with me a song I believe titled "Angel Flight." These men and women that fight and die for us are special people indeed. May our government give them all the support and help they need to get by in life. They deserve our rewards.
