And the winner is...

ADHD By a furlong. Great job lady. In the navy we are all trained to be fire-fighters. So my question about helmet color did not take civilian protocol into account. So I have to give full credit for that one. Ben Franklin started the first volunteer fire-department and he did it in Philadelphia.
KC gets credit for all three correct answers.
I must give credit to Heidi at 2thinks, and Edie. Better late than never. Sorry ladies for not reading back on the post.

  1. Ben Franklin did much that most folks are not aware of.

  2. Well at least I didn't fail. I'll take my D and be happy, considering I didn't study for the test. :-)

  3. Funny thing is, about an hour ago I was folding clothes and for some reason was thinking about this and said to myself that I thought it was Philadelphia.

Believe me when I said they drilled us, I meant it. The classroom part was torture but I guess some of it stuck.

  4. Hey! What about me? I said Ben and Philly and I REALLY DID know that- from a history book studied not long ago with my daughter. We homeschool over here, you know, so stuff like that does show up. That's how I knew it.

So, I didn't fail the test, right?

    Sheesh.

  6. Well we all knew who would get all the answers! I would miss the one I knew a little bit about. :)

There's always next time. I need reminders about your Tuesday Test. I always seem to miss them.
